Customer staff
Account information can include your name, work email, role, organisation membership, login events, session metadata, workspace settings and support or security correspondence.
Customers' staff and people who received a Vericode verification code can request access to, or correction of, personal information Vericode holds about them.
[email protected]Account information can include your name, work email, role, organisation membership, login events, session metadata, workspace settings and support or security correspondence.
The record is deliberately limited: the phone number targeted, message and provider metadata, timestamps, the staff actor, method, outcome and related audit events.
Verification evidence, not client files. Vericode is not a document repository and does not require a firm to upload client matter files to verify an authorised contact.
The live Privacy Policy describes additional categories such as billing, API-key metadata and service correspondence. An access response is scoped to information about the requester, not another person's information or unrestricted workspace records.
Email [email protected] with your name, contact details, whether you are customer staff or a verification recipient, the approximate date or workspace involved, and the information you seek.
Before releasing personal information, Vericode may verify your identity and relationship to the relevant workspace. We ask only for what is reasonably needed. This is separate from the code check in our product.
Vericode aims to respond within 30 days of a valid request. Complex requests may take longer; if so, we will explain the reason and keep you informed.
Access can sometimes be refused or redacted where required or permitted by law, including to protect another person's privacy. We will explain the basis where the law allows.
Tell us which information is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, what you believe is correct, and any context that helps us assess the request. We will consider information Vericode itself holds and, where appropriate, coordinate with the customer workspace that supplied it.
We will explain the decision where the law allows. You can ask us to associate a statement with the record saying that you consider the information inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. That statement preserves the dispute alongside the record in plain view of future handling.
A correction does not automatically erase an audit event that must remain intact for security, dispute-resolution or legal reasons. The correction or associated statement can instead provide the necessary context.
Vericode usually acts on instructions from the business that initiated the verification. We cannot unilaterally change that business's client file or act outside the relationship for every request type. Your access and correction rights still apply to personal information Vericode itself holds about you. We may contact the customer business where needed to understand the record, while limiting disclosure to what is lawful and necessary.
For cancellation and deletion mechanics, see the records-retention guide. For the firm's ownership and export position, see data ownership and exit.
Email [email protected] with the issue and the outcome you seek. We will assess the complaint and explain our response. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner on 1300 363 992 or at [email protected].
